Formal Consultation - Single data return timing change and indicative enrolment collection
The Ministry of Education, Tertiary Education Commission and New Zealand Qualifications Authority welcome your feedback on a proposal to alter the dates for the Single Data Return (SDR) April and August returns, and the inclusion of an indicative collection in the first week of March.
This change will affect Tertiary Education Organisations that currently complete the SDR.
In advance of the formal consultation, we have approached a number of forums including the ITP CEOs, the PTE Forum, several Universities NZ groups, such as Committee of Planning Directors, the Inter Wānanga Hui and a selection of SMS vendors, to discuss the proposal; this has helped inform the current proposal. We are now looking for a more comprehensive view across the sector. This feedback will be analysed and used to confirm the new dates for the April and August submissions, and the implementation timeframes of either August 2015 or April 2016.
The final date to provide feedback is 13 March 2015. Please circulate the consultation document to appropriate people within your organisation to provide feedback.
