Law is the study of the principles and regulations emanating from a government in the form of legislation and of custom and policies recognised by judicial decision. Skills learned include: understanding the laws of this country and other countries. The main purpose of this field of study is to develop an understanding of the principles and practices of commercial law, the principles and practices of criminal law, the constitution and constitutional law and the powers of Government. It also involves developing an ability to assess and evaluate the reliability of evidence, analyse legal issues and express legal arguments in speech and writing.
