  Agriculture, Environmental and Related Studies is the study of the theory and practice of growing, gathering, reproducing and caring for plants and animals. It also includes the study of the interaction between people and the environment and the application of scientific knowledge to the environment to protect it from further deterioration.

   Fisheries Studies is the study of breeding, rearing, harvesting and handling fish and other edible aquatic resources. Skills learned include: recognising, preventing and controlling diseases associated with farming aquatic resources, harvesting and handling fish and other edible aquatic resources, monitoring and maintaining water quality. The main purpose of this field of study is to develop an understanding of fisheries management, techniques and technology of commercial fisheries, the growth and ecology of fish populations, and objectives and methods of management, legislation and its effect on commercial and recreational fisheries.
